Marcon Borg Caruana is a cultural manager, project coordinator, and creative consultant with extensive experience delivering artistic, community-based, and culturally driven projects across Malta’s cultural landscape. She specialises in guiding ideas from concept to delivery, supporting creatives, organisations, and institutions in shaping meaningful, well-planned, and beautifully executed initiatives.

With a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Leuphana University in Germany, Marcon’s approach blends strategic thinking with hands-on experience. Her work draws on contemporary cultural management frameworks that emphasise participation, accessibility, and the thoughtful use of space, technology, and community engagement.

Marcon has coordinated and supported cultural programmes for Local and Regional Councils, national cultural government agencies, and organisations including the Valletta 2018 Foundation, Festivals Malta, the German-Maltese Circle, and multiple independent cultural partners. Her experience spans festival management, procurement coordination, artist and stakeholder liaison, audience development, and the design of programme strategies that respond to local needs.

As an artisan and founder of Atelier Nineteen Wearable Art, Marcon also brings a material sensitivity and maker’s perspective to her work. Her practice, centred on reuse, slow craft, and creative interpretation, was recognised by the Malta Crafts Council as runner-up for Most Innovative Product Using Precious Materials in 2020. This hands-on approach shapes her understanding of care, tactility, and human experience within cultural projects.

Through KreARTivi, Marcon now supports creatives, organisations, NGOs, councils, and cultural entities through personalised project services. These include cultural project planning, grant preparation, stakeholder coordination, artist matchmaking, event production, creative consultancy, and end-to-end project management. Her aim is to help ideas grow with clarity, structure, and heart, while empowering clients to realise projects that are both innovative and rooted in community impact.
